European Space Agency / Exhibition stand
New Scientist Live is a celebration of science, technology & engineering, offering visitors a packed four days of leading speakers, interactive demonstrations and innovative products and services. At Ouno we love this kind of stuff, so we jumped at the chance to design a prime location 180sqm stand for the European Space Agency.
The 180 sqm stand was divided into zones, each telling a different part of the European Space Agency story. Despite the very tight budget we packed in a lot of visitor attractions including large graphic totems, an ‘outgassing’ model of the Rosetta comet, video presentations, a working prototype Mars Rover and a suspended model of the International Space Station.
On the opening morning of the show the stand played host to a packed VIP launch starring British astronaut Tim Peake. Some 16,000 visitors passed through the stand over the course of four days, helping to make this a truly successful event for the European Space Agency.
