How?

Re-inventing the biannual airshow each cycle has been a creative challenge - and a competitive tender process - that we have succeeded at every time we've taken up the challenge. The core assets are always the public and trade campaign concept.

Once these are finalised, we roll them out into an enormous range of online and offline assets, at speed. The 2024 show is the first time in 18 years that we decided not to tender for the work.

The result?

From our very first campaign for FIA, which lifted orders by 111% (from £42 billion to £89 billion), we've overseen a further 20% growth in international participation over our first 10 years. This culminated in their still-unbeaten record of $204 billion of sales - a 386% increase in orders announced since our partnership began. In 2024 - the first time in 18 years that Ouno were not involved in the airshow, FIA's order book suffered a 96% decline.

As the official creative partner of FIA over a 16-year period, we've sought to challenge and advise them on both strategy and technology.

The Farnborough Airshow has a special place in our hearts, and the work we've done over 8 consecutive campaign cycles shows that. A great example of a longterm partnership built on trust.

Farnborough Airshow 2018

For 2018, we pitched an idea based on the Farnborough Airshow ‘Airbridge’ logo. Using the airflow, we were able to animate the campaign and bring to life a powerful new brand expression.
