GKN Pavilion at Farnborough International Airshow 2016 design and build by Ouno Creative, Hampshire.

GKN / Pavilion 2016

In 2016 GKN Aerospace entrusted Ouno to come up with a new design and focus for their pavilion located at the Farnborough International Airshow. This impressive building would be at the heart of their sales and marketing drive during the trade show and needed to worked for industry professionals, public visitors, GKN staff, media, VIPs and investors.

This was Ouno’s biggest project to date for GKN Aerospace, so the pressure to suceed was immense. The centrepiece of our pavilion design was an enclosed theatrette area containing a 6m long model of an airliner.

Onto this model we projected 3D imagery and graphics, synched to audio voice over and SFX. The resulted in a innovative 2 minute audio-visual experience that managed to summarise the wide range of services offered by GKN Aerospace.

The stand also featured a semi-transparent holographic effect LCD touch screen displaying technical information over a jet engine model. We also placed iPad based interactives next to static product displays and gave visitors a glimpse into the future via a custom video.

WHAT THE CLIENT SAID:

“Ouno were able to offer a complete solution for us. As well as managing the design of the exhibition space, they also created the high-quality digital content for the screens, iPads etc. This meant that the end product was seamless and told a coherent story, and also that all content was created with future re-use in mind. The benefits of this are obvious: we were able to share our Farnborough experience and content with all employees, customers and other audiences who were not at the show, ensuring that our investment with Ouno provided great value for money.”
