Ouno wins interactive campaign at Communicator Awards 2022
The team at Ouno have won a coveted Award of Excellence for Market Effectiveness in Interactive Campaigns at the 2022 Communicator Awards. The Award recognised the agencies impressive work designing and producing for our client SSE the Powering Change interactive experiential stands at COP26, the world climate summit held in Glasgow.

Ouno designed and installed three interactive stands across the COP26 venue, including one in the VVIP zone dedicated to world leaders and their teams.
Visitors to the stands could show their support for renewable wind energy by adding their digital signature to a live Leaderboard list of names. Their signature was overlayed at large size onto a 3D visualisation of what will be the world’s biggest wind farm at Dogger Bank in the North Sea. The signatures remained on screen long enough for the visitor to take a souvenir ‘selfie’ picture.
Our interactive stands delivered beyond everyone’s wildest expectations. We collected 897 VIP signatures at COP26 to add to the 10,000+ collected by SSE via their online campaign targeting the UK public. In a nice final touch, all of the signatures gathered at COP26 will be etched onto the huge main shaft of the first operational wind turbine around 2026.
It was visited by a host of leaders, Heads-of-State, Royalty, Government shakers-and-movers, celebrities and VVIPs. Ouno Director Simon Pipe was on-hand to walk visitors through the digital signing experiences. In the process he got to meet some big names including the UK Prime Minister and members of Cabinet, US Senators and Presidents, world leaders, Royalty, celebrities and pop-stars.
