Green Trade & Energy Expo 2022 / Stand design attracts Ministers and industry leaders
For the Green Trade & Investment Expo 2022 (GTIE) held at the Sage Centre in Newcastle, Ouno Creative designed and built for our client SSE a cutting-edge interactive digital experience that successfully engaged Government ministers and high-level industry shakers and movers.
The SSE stand held centre stage at the Green Trade & Investment Expo, attracting a steady stream of high-level vistors.
Ouno used Unreal Engine to display on a large video wall a realistic 3D fly through simulation of the massive Dogger Bank offshore wind farm that SSE is rapidly building with it partners Equinor and Vårgrønn.
When completed in 2026 it will be the largest offshore wind farm in the world, boasting 277 operational turbines, each as big as the Eiffel Tower and capable of generating 3.6GW.
The stand featured the popular digital signature podium that made its debut at COP 26. Visitors to the stand could sign their names via digital pen and their signature was added to a live Leader Board display and was simultaneously displayed large scale onto the video wall. They could then take selfies with their signature and the wind farm video wall in the background.
This feature has been a big hit at both COP 26 and GTIE 2022, delivering maximum engagement for SSE with high level Ministers, Heads-of-State, Government officials, industry leaders and VIPs.
A nice touch is that every digital signature captured will be etched onto the shaft of the first operational turbine.
