GKN Pavilion FIA 2018
Ouno Creative were commissioned to design a high-tech exhibition space within the GKN Pavilion at the 2018 Farnborough International Airshow. Our solution was to make bold use of digital technology to engage and inform visitors.
Ouno created a memorable interactive experience for visitors to the GKN Pavilion at the 2018 Farnborough Airshow. Ouno worked closely with the GKN communication team to deliver a space that informed, engaged and entertained. It had to deliver both a holistic ‘big picture’ overview showcasing the many capabilities of GKN Aerospace for investors, trade visitors and media, whilst also providing detailed information for the likes of engineers, technical specialists and scientists.

An entire wall of the Pavilion was given over to a huge LED video wall – possibly the largest video wall at the airshow. The video wall ran looping custom 4K content created by Ouno. We also developed, built and installed two advanced touch tables, wall graphics and video displays. The interactive attractions ran alongside a number of large scale product displays.
Ouno Creative is a UK leader in the design and development of touch screens and multi-touch tables featuring tangible object recognition. When GKN Aerospace wanted to communicate their wide range of services in a hi-tech way, a pair of 86 inch state-of-the-art PCAP touch tables was the perfect solution.
Two touch tables were installed, one at either end of the GKN Pavilion space. One table displayed a holistic overview of the company’s global operations. The other table showcased GKN Aerospace’s technical capabilities and drilled down into more detail about what they do.
The tables featured tangible object recognition, supporting up to 6 trigger objects at any one time. Each trigger object – a round plastic control puck – generated its own digital content.
