FARNBOROUGH AIRSHOW / International trade campaign

The Farnborough International Airshow 2016 (FIA2016) trade campaign was designed by Ouno Creative and we believe it had a very strong presence at this year’s Farnborough International Airshow.

The campaign needed to be instantly recognisable and distinguished so we created an infographic look making use of the incredible statistics that had been gleaned from FIA2014. For example, over $305 billion of business was conducted during FIA2014.

We coupled this bold use of typography with high contrast images that were in turn set against a powerful orange colour. The campaign was then rolled out across trade media, as well as printed and digital media in the run up to the show.

As you might expect, the campaign and branding was also very visible on site during the actual week of the show. Whether it was large scale printing or small, Ouno has created another strong trade campaign for The Farnborough International Airshow. So naturally we wanted to try and document this, so we spent some time during the show looking to spot our branding and documenting it on film, some of which you can see on this page.

Ouno Creative also designed graphics for The Hub stand at the airshow which hosted talks and presentations throughout the week. The stand was in association with Kallman Worldwide so the branding had to reflect Kallman’s presence at the airshow whilst still maintaining the Farnborough Trade branding.

Ouno did not just constrain themselves to doing stand design, they made the official Farnborough trade bag, wall graphics, banners, gate signage, promotional ads, brochures and even produced videos to promote the trade show. All of this work coupled with all of the other projects Ouno had going on made for a hectic few months…but we think it was all worth it!

As well as the FIA16 Trade Campaign, we also created the Public Airshow campaign which you can see examples of within our portfolio.
